What You Will Do:
Responsible for the service and repair of all H VAC, air compressors and air dryers at the Karl Auto Group. While complying with fire codes, health, environmental and safety requirements and OSHA and other government regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all H VAC equipment and air compressor equipment
- Changing air filters, cleaning condenser fins, check belts, perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ensure heating and cooling in all areas are working at optimal efficiency
- Aid in snow removal and other duties as assigned; as needed
- Effectively manage repair expenses of H VAC systems.
The Ideal Candidate Should:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial/ residential H VAC service tech.
- Have EPA 608 refrigerant certification and have the ability to service: make up air unites, roof top units, split systems, mini- split systems, VFR systems, Reznor heaters and infrared tube heaters.
- Knowledge of local regulations and building codes including OSHA. Knowledge of construction activities, radiation safety, environmental health, biohazard safety programs and fire safety practices and procedures.
- Be highly motivated and goal-oriented.
- Possess strong time management skills.
- Have a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Have a positive attitude with the desire to grow personally and professionally.
- Team oriented.
- Possess the ability to use technology applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
- Have a clean and valid driver’s license.
