What’s The Job?
The Customer Service Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of Asahi/America's Tool Rental Department. You will work directly with customers to coordinate welding equipment rentals, process rental orders, track shipments and returns, manage documentation, and ensure customers receive the equipment they need when they need it. Acting as the bridge between customers, sales teams, warehouse personnel, and logistics providers, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting the efficient operation of the rental program. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Own.
In this role, you will manage the complete rental process, from customer inquiries and equipment reservations through shipment, return, and final documentation. You will serve as the primary contact for customers regarding rental availability, scheduling, equipment status, shipping coordination, and administrative support. Working closely with warehouse, logistics, sales, and technical teams, you will ensure equipment is delivered accurately and on time while maintaining detailed customer records and rental histories. You will proactively communicate with customers regarding rental schedules, returns, and any service-related issues while helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. You'll also support order processing, documentation management, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience and effectiveness of the Tool Rental Department.

You are a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and solving problems. You have experience in customer service, inside sales, logistics, rental operations, or administrative support within an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical environment. You possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing focus on customer satisfaction. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, order processing, shipping coordination, or equipment rental operations is highly valued. Familiarity with industrial products, distribution networks, or technical equipment is a plus, but most importantly, you bring a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Compensation Transparency.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 – $ 76,500.00 per year Plus Bonus.
The pay range shown represents what we expect to offer in good faith for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will depend on several factors—such as education, experience, certifications, skills, performance, shift, location, and business needs. We review our ranges regularly to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $76,500.00 per year
