Position: Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Are you a compassionate caregiver who enjoys building meaningful relationships with seniors? We are looking for a dedicated Medication Technician/Caregiver to join our memory care team. This role is much more than passing medications—you will play an essential part in providing hands-on care, companionship, and support to our residents living with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to state regulations.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
- Provide compassionate, person-centered dementia care.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed.
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition.
- Accurately document medications, care provided, and resident observations.
- Engage residents in activities and meaningful interactions throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and leadership to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications
- Current HCA, CNA, or NAR certification preferred.
- Medication Technician experience preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus.
- Reliable, compassionate, dependable, and a strong team player.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
