Registered Nurse Operating Room
Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Pay Rate: $ 2,400 To $2,520 /Week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts; on-call required
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Carbondale, Illinois. This role supports surgical services and requires strong OR nursing experience, clinical judgment, patient assessment, accurate documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for patients in the operating room setting
Assess patient needs and support individualized plans of care
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
Educate patients or responsible parties as appropriate before and after procedures
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and support safe surgical workflow
Requirements
Active Illinois Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
ACLS Certification Preferred
Must be available for 4x10-hour shifts, on-call coverage, and no block scheduling requests
