Vice President, Produce Division
This executive leadership position is responsible for crafting the strategy and driving execution of Farm Journal’s produce division. This position will own division revenues and forecasting, manage and grow a sales team, craft market messaging, collaborate with centers of excellence to refine and devise new product offerings, and own the long-term division strategic plan.

This dynamic leader assumes the lead industry role in monetizing data-driven products and business information services through creative go-to-market excellence and strong, enterprise-level customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead and manage sales and business development teams to achieve produce division revenue targets.
- Develop and implement commercial and revenue strategies aligned with produce division business goals.
- Identify new opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships, and pricing models.
- Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and/or commercial performance analytics.
- Optimize go-to-market strategies for data and business intelligence products.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure product-market fit and drive revenue.
- Work in concert with other COE executives to maximize profitability on print, broadcast, event, market advisory and custom products.
- Foster a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to measure and refine strategies.
- Develop long-standing, strategic-level relationships with key clients, stakeholders, industry leaders, and strategic partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in data monetization or business intelligence.
Skills/Professional Experience
These qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 5+ years of senior experience in the Produce industry. Intimate knowledge of market dynamics, participants, and commercial strategies.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in commercial roles within data publishing, business intelligence, or SaaS industries.
- Expertise in events, digital advertising, print advertising, data, and enterprise software sales models.
- Degree and/or clearly demonstrated skillset growth in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth, scaling teams, and improving customer retention and acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams with alignment on sales, marketing, and commercial operations.
- Solid track record of managing expenses and resources to maximize profit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.

Work Environment
This role is either hybrid in our corporate office in Kansas City or remote. Travel required, approximately
35-40%.
