Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Nurse Aide to join our team. The Nurse Aide assists the nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, works well in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrates professionalism and excellent communication skills.
Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate.
- Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient information as directed.
- Prepare patients for procedures and examinations.
- Assist with patient transport throughout the facility.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas.
- Clean and prepare patient rooms, stretchers, and equipment between patients.
- Assist with room turnover and ensure supplies are readily available.
- Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing
- CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Previous healthcare or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and assist with patient transfers.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform patient care duties.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
