Lizzie’s Bakery is hiring an experienced, skilled and team-oriented cake decorator to help create our signature cakes, custom birthday and wedding cakes. This is an in-person role based in our Shaker Heights kitchen, with weekday and some Saturday availability required.
Responsibilities: Baking: Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, cookies, cupcakes, bars, and more. Recipe Execution: Follow recipes and directions accurately and consistently. Kitchen Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow bakers and support team-wide goals. Cleanliness & Prep: Keep a clean and organized workspace, restock as needed, and assist with daily prep. Decorating: Decorate weekly custom order cakes, wedding cakes and our signature menu cakes as well as frosting cupcakes for the shop and custom orders.
Qualifications: Prior baking and decorating experience is required. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Organized, proactive, and efficient in the kitchen. Available 3–4 days per week. Commitment to our nut-free policy.
Additional Information: Part-time role, 3–4 days per week. Compensation will be based on experience (plus employee discount on all Lizzie’s Bakery items!) Ideal start date: Immediately.
