Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented insurance specialist experienced in PIP.
In this role, you will be working independently on the collection of PIP accounts. Additionally, you will be communicating with attorney offices, claims adjusters and patients. Strong experience in collections is a must, as well as experience in PIP billing and insurance procedures. Must be an independent worker who needs little to no supervision.
This is an IN OFFICE role. We do NOT have remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing PIP insurance inquiries and providing necessary information to the patient and insurance companies.
- Perform insurance verification to confirm coverage and eligibility for services.
- Educate and communicate with patients on PIP
- Assist in our in-house insurance department
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in insurance PIP billing and collections.
- Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.
- Insurance experience is a must for this interview.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and managed care principles.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
