Compensation: $18.00–$24.00 per hour (DOE), plus commissions and customer tips

Located directly on the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt in Scottsdale, we provide customers with one of the safest and most scenic riding experiences in the state. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced bike shop mechanic or someone with strong mechanical skills who takes pride in their work. We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed—from diagnosing and repairing bikes to keeping the showroom spotless.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become a full-time team member after a successful 90-day trial period.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, repair, and service bicycles and electric bikes
- Assemble new bicycles and e-bikes to manufacturer specifications
- Perform safety inspections and quality control checks
- Clean, detail, and prepare rental and showroom bikes
- Wipe down bicycles throughout the day and keep every bike customer-ready
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom and service department
- Sweep, organize, and maintain the overall appearance of the store
- Assist with inventory organization and receiving new products
- Support the sales and rental team when needed
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Continue learning advanced e-bike diagnostics and repair procedures
Qualifications
- Previous bike shop mechanic experience preferred, or strong mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to diagnose and repair bicycles and e-bikes efficiently
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Takes pride in personal appearance, quality workmanship, and maintaining a clean, professional workspace
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move bicycles and equipment safely
- E-bike experience is a plus
- Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Candidates with experience in bicycle shops, powersports, motorcycles, automotive repair, outdoor equipment, or similar mechanical fields are encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position.
