Retail Store Manager - Centennial, Colorado

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED STORE MANAGER at our Centennial location. Competitive pay, benefits, and career opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving results through a team of departments and individuals in the store.
They provide coaching to their team, delegate work to the appropriate resources, and make data-driven decisions to support the success of the business.
They lead by example by showing a commitment to customer service through their actions.
They act as positive influencers to drive appropriate speech, customer and team interactions, disposition issues, and promotion of a generally positive atmosphere in their assigned location(s).
They operate the assigned location(s) and all assets within the boundaries of being a good steward of the company.
Actively identifies and builds future leaders through hands-on management, training, and development of desired skills, abilities, and knowledge of Guiry’s, our products, and processes.
Drive customer loyalty and sales by providing excellent service to retail and commercial customers.
Maintain existing business while generating new business - Oversee staff and scheduling, banking, inventory, and store appearance.
- Store Managers typically work 45-50 hours per week depending on location and season. This is an overtime eligible position
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, however, BA/BS degree preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience managing teams in a retail or customer-focused environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs regularly
- Strong customer service, sales, business acumen, relationship building, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Business preferred.
- Prior experience in the paint industry strongly preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
