Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and support.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues using various tools, including an ohmmeter, to identify electrical problems.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Document all service activities, including repairs made, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role.
Skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
