Vici Health Sciences is seeking a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The Manufacturing Technician will support pharmaceutical formulation, manufacturing, packaging, equipment operation, cleaning, documentation, and general facility activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who communicates well, follows written instructions carefully, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain pharmaceutical formulation, small-scale, and scale-up equipment.
- Manufacture batches by accurately following written batch records, procedures, and instructions.
- Complete required manufacturing documentation clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Keep equipment, instruments, manufacturing rooms, and work areas in good working order.
- Properly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, instruments, and processing areas.
- Perform daily balance check-weight challenges, DI water performance verifications, and pH meter calibrations.
- Maintain and organize raw-material and laboratory inventories.
- Prepare and label samples for analysis.
- Collect, handle, and dispose of laboratory and manufacturing waste according to established procedures.
- Sweep, mop, and clean processing rooms to maintain the required manufacturing environment.
- Assist with packaging, material movement, inventory, shipping, receiving, and other operational activities as needed.
- Assist team members with various tasks throughout the facility.
- Follow all safety, quality, cleanliness, and documentation requirements.
- Perform other general manufacturing, cleaning, and organizational duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Lift, carry, push, and move heavy materials, containers, equipment, and supplies as required.
- Stand and walk for extended periods during an eight-hour shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive movements.
- Safely use stairs and ladders.
- Work in manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and facility areas.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform physically demanding work while maintaining attention to detail and following safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, food, laboratory, packaging, or regulated manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and batch records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and willing to assist wherever needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Eight-hour day shift, Monday through Friday
