We are seeking an organized and confident Assistant Director to support campus leadership and daily operations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Director partners with the Campus Director to ensure smooth daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff support, and positive family relationships.
This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to balance administrative responsibilities with classroom oversight when needed.
Qualifications
- Childcare Director Licensing (Texas) preferred
- TRS (Texas Rising Star) experience preferred
- Montessori certification preferred
- CDA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education welcomed
- Minimum 3 years experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Texas Minimum Standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred
- Professional, solution-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities Operations & Compliance
- Support daily campus operations
- Ensure compliance with Texas Licensing and TRS standards
- Maintain student and staff records
- Assist with licensing visits and internal quality checks
Staff Leadership
- Support teacher coaching and classroom consistency
- Assist with scheduling and classroom coverage
- Help onboard and guide new staff members
- Promote professionalism and accountability
Family Engagement
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with parents
- Support tours and enrollment processes
- Address concerns promptly and appropriately
Administrative Support
- Monitor ratios and attendance
- Assist with enrollment tracking and billing coordination
- Support campus events and initiatives
