Line Cook
Location: Hazleton, PA Area
Positions Available: 3
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and reliable Line Cooks to join a busy hospitality and dining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting a fast-paced kitchen operation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a scenic resort environment while enjoying access to resort amenities and programs available to employees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and stocking as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Monitor food quality and communicate any shortages or concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or line cook experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable transportation and attendance required.
- Culinary training is a plus but not required.
