Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves operating various commercial vehicles, managing warehouse tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including small box trucks, delivery, and other heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Deliver goods to designated locations using route driving skills
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Assist with warehouse organization, and moving supplies or equipment within the facility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow all safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery routes, shuttle driving, or similar roles involving freight or heavy equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate
- Mechanical knowledge related to commercial vehicles and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Experience with warehouse tasks such as moving freight using forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform manual tasks associated with transportation duties.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
