Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring an Assembler I / II in Houston, TX 77099.
Job Description:
- Performs instrument assembly by following instructions on drawings and work instructions
- Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Operate small hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.
- Performs in- process inspection to ensure products meet specifications
- Will be performing bead blasting operations
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Filling out time sheets and all other required paperwork, relationships within the work team
Job Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of related assembly experience
- Must have manufacturing experience, preferably related to medical device experience
- Must have experience using the following measuring instruments, like micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Must have experience in freehand grinding on the standing belt and polishing wheels to create shapes, smooth edges and surfaces
- Must know how to set up and operate manual benders and pneumatic/ hydraulic presses.
- Must have great communication skills
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
2nd shift 2:30 PM- 1 AM
Pay:
$21.00 per hour. We pay weekly.
