Duties:
- Prepare and create a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Assist with catering orders as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of sushi rolling techniques and Japanese cuisine
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely
- Attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing dishes
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
