What You’ll Do
As our Wire EDM Operator, you’ll be part of our precision machining team. You’ll get to run Wire EDM machines doing the following:
· Read and interpret work instructions, prints, and job orders with product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions
· With assistance, troubleshooting, edit, and optimize new production programs to ensure efficient overall production
· Calculate and set machine controls to specific work orders
· Document new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimized
· Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers
· Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications
· Follow all safety policies and procedures
· Setup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shop
· Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
