Job Summary
We're looking for a talented Licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys what they do and wants to work in a busy, established massage practice.
At Soleus, our therapists are encouraged to use their own skills, training, and style rather than follow a scripted massage routine. You'll work with a large base of repeat clients with different needs and preferences, from relaxation and stress relief to focused therapeutic work.
We're looking for someone who provides great massage, communicates well with clients, is dependable, and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, customized massage sessions based on each client's needs and preferences
- Communicate with clients before and during sessions to ensure their comfort and address areas of concern
- Maintain appropriate client notes and documentation
- Keep your massage room clean, stocked, and ready for clients
- Follow Soleus policies, professional standards, and Tennessee massage regulations
- Help create the relaxed, welcoming experience our clients have come to expect
- Be dependable and ready for your scheduled appointments
- Work cooperatively with our front desk staff and other therapists
More Than a Massage Studio
Soleus has been part of the Johnson City community since 2004. Over the years, we've grown from massage into a full wellness experience while keeping massage therapy at the heart of what we do.
For our therapists, that means working in an established business with a large existing client base, professional customer service staff, and systems already in place to keep your schedule running smoothly. Our customer service team handles scheduling, client communication, check-in and checkout, so you can concentrate on your clients and your massage work.
Our client base is well established, with approximately 90% repeat clientele, and many clients maintain standing appointments. New therapists aren't expected to walk in with their own book of business and build from zero.
What That Means For You
- Walk into a busy schedule — our newest therapists are starting with full schedules
- Get paid for late cancellations and no-shows
- W-2 employment — not 1099
- Paid Time Off for both full-time and part-time therapists
- Commission on every service, with opportunities to earn additional bonuses
- Yearly allowance toward your professional liability insurance
- CEU assistance toward your continuing education every two-year renewal cycle
- No need to bring your own clientele — we already have a large, established client base
- No answering phones, booking appointments, checking clients out or managing your own schedule — our customer service team handles the front desk
- No required signature massage routine — use your education, experience and individual style to make your massage your own
- No required spa services — you're here to practice massage therapy
- One complimentary wellness service every month — choose Float Therapy, Halotherapy, Sauna or Sound Therapy
- Opportunity to trade massage sessions with fellow therapists during the week
- Work in a professional, relaxed environment with an established team and long-term clientele
We provide the clientele, scheduling support, benefits and infrastructure so our therapists can come to work and focus on being massage therapists.
