Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Plan, develop, and update menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting dietary requirements and customer preferences.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Enforce strict food safety standards by implementing sanitizing procedures, handling food properly, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution of large-scale or special occasion meals.
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of food service management.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments.
- Proven supervising experience with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of banquet experience, catering operations, and restaurant management best practices.
- Skilled in food preparation techniques, menu planning, and food service operations.
- Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and managing food industry standards for safety and sanitation.
- Familiarity with dietary department requirements and accommodating special dietary needs.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; capable of motivating staff and managing shifts efficiently.
- Experience with kitchen management software or inventory control systems is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
