POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a certified nurse midwife to join a high volume, fast-paced, collaborative private practice in sunny San Antonio, Texas.
Candidate will be required to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, with a rotating call schedule. We have 2 clinic locations and deliver at 2 hospitals.
The nurse-midwife, under the general supervision of a licensed physician, will manage women's healthcare, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and the family planning and gynecological needs of women.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- An active license to practice as a Midwife in the State of Texas, or eligible for licensure.
- An active RN license in the state of Texas, or eligible for licensure.
- Successful completion of a Master’s level Nurse Midwifery program that is recognized and certified through AMCB.
- BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification.
- Experience preferred but would consider a new grad.
