Position Overview Seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to provide full-time care for a 1-year-old in our home. Responsibilities include supervised play, basic household upkeep related to the child, and meal prep.
Responsibilities
Childcare & Development
- Supervise all activities; never leave child unattended
- Follow nap schedule and daily routine
- Track milestones and communicate updates to parents
- Basic hygiene: diaper changes, hand washing, bath time
Age-Appropriate Activities
- Sensory play (water play, textured toys, sand/rice bins)
- Stacking blocks, shape sorters, simple puzzles
- Reading board books aloud daily
- Music and movement (songs, dancing, clapping games)
- Outdoor time: stroller walks, park visits, supervised grass/yard play
- Peekaboo, mirror play, object permanence games
- Crawling/walking practice, push toys
- Simple art (finger painting, crayon scribbling with supervision)
Light Housekeeping (child-related)
- Wash bottles, sippy cups, and feeding dishes
- Tidy and sanitize play area and toys
- Do child's laundry (clothes, bibs, bedding)
- Keep nursery organized
- Empty diaper pail
Meal Preparation
- Prepare age-appropriate meals/snacks (purees, soft finger foods per pediatrician guidance)
- Follow any allergy or dietary restrictions strictly
- Sterilize bottles/prep formula or breast milk as instructed
- Introduce new foods per parent guidance
- Clean up after meals
Requirements
- Prior infant/toddler care experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- References required
- Background check required
- Reliable, punctual, patient
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
