Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time experienced bookkeeper proficient with accounts payable (A/P), fixed assets, payroll, account reconciliations, invoicing, and preparing financial statements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients across a variety of industries and can confidently manage recurring accounting tasks on a monthly cycle. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients across diverse industries
- Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure all client work is completed on time each month
- Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Monthly accounting tasks including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Manage month-end close processes for assigned clients
- Fixed Assets – Entering fixed assets, maintaining depreciation schedules, posting depreciation
- Payroll – Reviewing payroll reports and posting payroll taxes, wages, 401k, employer withholdings journal entries
- Accounts Payable – expense report reconciliations, bank wire transfers, coding vendor invoices; research and resolve vendor invoices and payment issues; and other A/P related duties as needed
- Communicate with clients regarding financial questions, missing information, and reporting needs
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Desktop. Bill.com experience is a plus.
- Experience working with multiple clients or accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to stay organized and manage recurring monthly workflows
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to learn and grown in the position
- Ability to work full time Monday - Friday
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
