Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finish carpentry, with a strong focus on trim/doors/hardware. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and design drawings, perform various construction tasks, and ensure high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects for both themselves and other crew members they are leading. The Finish Carpenter will work closely with other tradespeople, designers, job-site supers, and fellow team members to contribute to the successful completion of projects within deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Execute finish carpentry tasks including installation of trim, hardware, doors, and fixtures.
- Manage and Lead projects, coordinating with site personal and direct supervisor to maintain project flow and meet specific project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints/design drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site to ensure efficient workflow. THIS ONE IS CRITICAL FOR THIS ROLE
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry with a focus on finish work; door installs, trim work, hardware, etc…
- Familiarity with door hanging, trimwork, custom trim carpentry, cabinetry installs, bath fixtures installation.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 lbs) regularly throughout the workday.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for quality craftsmanship.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 45 per week
