We are a premiere Balanced Body 12 Reformer-first studio (with a few Mat Classes; Towers in private rooms and to come) known for our athletic, contemporary style that blends traditional Pilates with modern functional movement. We lead dynamic and engaging private and small-group sessions (max 12 clients)
Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Barbara, on 1014 State Street Suite #A near the historic Granada Theatre, across from Lilac Patisserie (with easy access to the 101 freeway) and two easy to access public parking lots(# 7 and 8).

Responsibilities
- Instruction & Design: Lead dynamic and engaging private and group sessions (mat, reformer, tower) for all levels.
- Personalization & Assessment: Conduct fitness consultations and detailed client assessments to design personalized, safe, and effective movement plans (including pre/post-natal, injury, or rehabilitation modifications). Continuously monitor form, providing real-time corrections to ensure safety and maximize results.
- Studio Operations & Client Management: Maintain and contribute to a professional, clean, and safe studio environment. Efficiently manage all administrative tasks including scheduling, client progress documentation, and studio opening/closing procedures.
- Sales & Professional Growth: Maintain a proactive approach to client retention and growth by promoting classes, workshops, and private training packages.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive Certification: A comprehensive program of 450+ hours is required from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., BASI, Polestar, Stott Pilates, Balanced Body). Current National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) certification is a plus.
- Equipment Proficiency: Proven experience teaching on all major Pilates apparatus (Reformer, Mat, Tower).
- Expert Knowledge: Extensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the principles of Pilates (concentration, control, centering, etc.).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of consistent teaching experience preferred
- Client Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
