Reporting to the QA Team Lead, the QA Associate will ensure that software is tested according to Quality Assurance mechanisms and identified standards. Testing will be done throughout the SDLC, from testing requirements during the development phase to testing before functionality is moved to production. The QA Associate will communicate with business stakeholders, business analysts, development teams, and the deployment team. The ideal candidate for this position can quickly and easily learn to use applications of medium to high complexity and is willing to continue with QA or Technology education as appropriate to ITG. Given the nature of the position, it is essential that the incumbent effectively demonstrates the ability to accurately estimate work effort, keep commitments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Last but not least, we’re looking for a QA Associate who is excited to use new AI tools to work more efficiently and improve the quality of our testing artifacts.
This role primarily supports the quality assurance of financial management and ERP systems, including IPSAS-related projects delivered as part of the Process Innovation and Digitalization (PID) Programme. This is a project-funded position with an expected end date of December 2029, subject to the continued availability of funding and performance.
This position is home-based; however, the incumbent’s working hours must include a reasonable overlap with Bangkok (ICT, UTC+7) business hours, to be agreed with the supervisor, as the QA team and direct supervisor are based in Thailand. The incumbent must ensure access to a stable, high-speed internet connection, as the role involves continuous use of enterprise financial systems, cloud-based testing environments, and AI-assisted QA tools.
