Quality Manager
Our Hudson, NH client is seeking a Quality Manager with strong working knowledge of ISO 13485 and the medical device industry. This direct-hire role offers great benefits!
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager
- Lead and maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 13485, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
- Oversee all quality-related activities, including quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, internal auditing, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of quality personnel
- Serve as primary liaison for customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory agencies
- Support operational excellence through data-driven decision-making, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
Qualifications of the Quality Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Quality Management experience in plastics and medical device manufacturing
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485 and quality management system requirements
- Working knowledge of OEM/customer requirements and manufacturing quality processes
- Demonstrated experience with core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis
- Experience leading audits and interacting with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies
- Strong communication, organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related reporting/documentation systems
