Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead our dining team with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Supervise all front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and table management to ensure smooth flow and excellent service.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols.
- Oversee shift management by coordinating schedules, managing inventory control, and ensuring timely food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food presentation, and adherence to health regulations across the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure efficient food production, quality control, and proper food handling procedures.
- Support hiring processes through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members to foster a motivated work environment.
- Manage customer feedback proactively to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics to optimize operations, control costs, and improve profitability.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a high volume breakfast restaurant environment with a focus on front-of-house operations.
- Extensive background in hospitality management with strong supervisory skills in food service settings.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, team management, and shift leadership.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food production processes.
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team culture.
- Familiarity with budgeting, food handling regulations, and hospitality industry best practices is advantageous. Pay: $56,018.02 - $67,462.55 per year
