WellSpace seeking a fully independent licensed clinician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality counseling services to children and families in a supportive, client-centered environment. Knowledge in play therapy interventions is a plus! You’ll work with children starting at age 3 and up provide private services such as daycare assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families
- Specialize in child and family counseling, behavioral therapy, and developmental support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinic policies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, high-quality care
- Offer education and coping strategies to promote self-awareness and resilience
- Provide gender-sensitive counseling tailored to individual client needs
Skills
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Fully Independent Licensed in Alabama
- Experience working with children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques and play therapy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work empathetically with diverse populations, including gender-diverse clients

Reception to handle new client calls, and any follow up communication with clients as needed
Billing insurance, follow up with any claim rejections to avoid payment delays. Monthly client statement billing.

Up to 75k annual pay or more depending on your motivation level and consistency of a full schedule.
$500 continuing education allowance
