A well-established medical device/instruments company in Nashville, TN is looking for qualified personnel to be responsible for the smooth functioning of the Production Unit(s), including the orders received, shipment, and customer service.
Duties
- Supervise production operations.
- Schedule routine maintenance and repair of production facilities.
- Assign production responsibilities.
- Maintain safe production practice knowledge.
- Attend routine training/retraining classes.
- Develop/maintain/implement production procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Listen to customers carefully and get the information they want and get back to them with proper answers on a timely basis.
- Working knowledge of a PC, including Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel software.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in medical device or scientific instrument manufacturing.
- Experience with electrical circuit design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of radiation detection and radiation safety principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO/Quality Management System and medical device regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise production activities, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure high-quality standards.
