Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team and help keep our center running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining records, ordering supplies, assisting with enrollment, helping in a classroom, and ensuring efficient daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phones, emails, and respond to inquiries
- Assist with child enrollment, registration, and maintaining student records
- Manage attendance records and office documentation
- Schedule tours and appointments for prospective families
- Process tuition payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Order office and classroom supplies
- Support the Director with administrative tasks and special projects
- Ensure compliance with licensing and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Previous administrative or office experience required
- Experience in a child care, preschool, or educational setting required
- Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills
