Overview
Ouachita Enrichment Centers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Director to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across key areas of our organization.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Operations Director plays an integral role in ensuring that daily operations are safe, efficient, well-coordinated, and aligned with the mission and goals of Ouachita Enrichment Centers.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage people, projects, facilities, production activities, and operational resources while maintaining high standards of accountability, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This position requires someone who is organized, solutions-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily operations, including production, facilities, maintenance, equipment and operational assets, and other assigned operational areas.
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate operational and production goals, schedules, staffing needs, labor costs, inventories, and budgets.
- Provide leadership and supervision to assigned managers, supervisors, and operations staff.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, professional development, and consistent performance standards throughout operational areas.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, workplace safety standards, regulatory requirements, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with departments throughout OEC to support efficient operations and appropriate work opportunities for individuals receiving services.
- Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, construction projects, and organizational improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, forecasts, cost analysis, schedules, records, and other required documentation.
- Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficency, safety, quality, service delivery, and cost effectiveness.
- Assist with planning and implementing operational projects from development through completion.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant management experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in operations, production, facilities management, or a comparable operational environment.
- Supervisory or management experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage competing priorities, and maintain effective day-to-day operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing schedules, staffing, budgets, inventories, equipment, projects, or operational resources.
- Ability to analyze operational needs and implement practical, effective solutions.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees, leadership, community partners, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
