Safely performs heavy equipment operation and all duties associated with the construction, maintenance & testing of natural gas transmission pipeline. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Nothing in this job summary restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and have the ability to work independently. Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card, log book). Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing.
- Travel with overnight stays (competitive per diems and/or company provided lodging).
- Must pass Northeast Gas Association qualification tests or be currently qualified.
- Must pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
