Join the team at McRae's as a Home Daily Class A Driver, specializing in hauling US Mail. These are local routes that operate at lower traffic times and give you the stability of being home daily.
We are hiring (2) Class A drivers. You will be responsible for hauling US Mail from the Fox Valley area down to Milwaukee and back up.
FULL TIME CLASS A DRIVER (Appleton)
- Monday thru Thursday nights
- Start time: 1655(4:55pm) End time: 0600(6:00am)
- Approximately 50 -54 hrs./week
- Overnight route (Trips 3/4/2--5417C)
FULL TIME TEMPORARY CLASS A DRIVER (Appleton)
- Monday thru Friday
- Start time: 1700(5:00pm) End time: 0315 (3:15am)
- Approximately 51.25 hrs./week
- Overnight route (Trips 7/8--5417C)
- 2 months needed could turn into additional work(starts August 4th)
Contract Pay Breakdown
- Base Pay: $28.27/hr. (straight time)
- Fringe Pay: $6.16/hr. up to 80 hours per pay period (Medical and/or 401K or cash payout effective 7/5/26)
- 11 paid holidays recognized
- Eligible for vacation pay after one year of service
- Biweekly pay periods
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- No preventable DOT accidents, suspensions or revoked driver license in the past 3 years
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Postal Badge
- Must be able to pass a USPS background check
- No DUI's
- No Drug convictions within the past 7 years
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- No failed or refused drug screens
- All male applicants born after 1-1-1960 must be registered with the selective service to get clearance for a US Postal Badge
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must have 2 yrs. verifiable job history
- Predictable and regular full attendance is essential to qualify for this job
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
