Nu Hearts LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an adult female with developmental disabilities in her home and community.
This individual is a parent and enjoys being active in her community. The DSP will provide support that promotes independence, community inclusion, and overall well-being while respecting her choices and personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accessing and participating in community activities
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and recreational activities
- Support with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home
- Assist with budgeting, shopping, meal planning, and daily living tasks as needed
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate support
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain professional relationships with the individual, family members, and team members
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Current auto insurance required
- Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
