Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean, organized dining area that encourages guest satisfaction.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy service periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and utensils in accordance with food safety standards.
- Support the setup and breakdown of banquet or special event spaces as needed, ensuring all areas are guest-ready.
- Uphold excellent guest service by being attentive, approachable, and responsive to guest needs throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure proper hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing.
- Experience in bussing, food preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus; hotel or banquet experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and engage with guests professionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm.
