Position Title: Retail Pharmacy Marketing & Business Development Representative

Position Summary
The Retail Pharmacy Marketing & Business Development Representative is responsible for promoting Bethlehem Pharmacy's services to healthcare providers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, personal care homes, physician offices, home health agencies, hospice organizations, and community organizations. The primary goal is to develop new referral relationships, increase prescription volume, and expand pharmacy services through education, presentations, and relationship building.
Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities within the local community.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and healthcare administrators.
- Identify opportunities to increase prescription referrals and long-term care partnerships.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective referral sources.
Nursing Home & Assisted Living Marketing
- Schedule and conduct presentations at:
- Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
- Assisted Living Facilities
- Personal Care Homes
- Independent Living Communities
- Rehabilitation Centers
- Adult Day Care Centers
- Educate healthcare professionals regarding Bethlehem Pharmacy's services.
- Conduct in-service educational sessions for facility staff.
- Attend health fairs and community events.
Physician Office Marketing
- Visit physician offices on a scheduled basis.
- Educate providers and staff regarding:
- Prescription transfer services
- Medication synchronization
- Bubble Pack medication packaging
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Home delivery services
- Vaccinations
- Medicare Part D assistance
- Diabetes education
- Specialty medication coordination
Community Outreach
- Develop relationships with:
- Senior Centers
- Churches
- Community organizations
- Employer wellness programs
- Organize health education seminars.
- Coordinate vaccination clinics.
- Promote wellness screenings.
Marketing Activities
- Deliver marketing materials and educational brochures.
- Conduct product demonstrations.
- Manage community outreach campaigns.
- Maintain CRM database of contacts.
- Track marketing activities and referral sources.
Customer Service
- Follow up with referral sources.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
Reporting
- Submit weekly activity reports.
- Maintain referral tracking reports.
- Monitor marketing KPIs.
- Report competitor activities and market trends.

- Ability to develop long-term professional relationships.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
