Music Teacher – Part Time
Location: Kingspoint Christian School, Pasco, WA
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Head of School
Kingspoint Christian School is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered Part-Time
Music Teacher to inspire students through music education and worship. This role
provides instruction in music fundamentals while fostering creativity, skill development,
and an appreciation for God-honoring music.
Responsibilities:
Teach general music classes to students K4-12
Introduce and develop musical concepts such as rhythm, melody, theory, and
performance
Lead students in vocal and/or instrumental activities appropriate to age level
Prepare students for school performances, programs, and chapel participation
Encourage student engagement and confidence in musical expression
Integrate a biblical worldview into music instruction and classroom culture
Collaborate with faculty and administration for school events and performances
Qualifications:
Experience in music education, classroom instruction, or equivalent musical
training
Ability to teach basic music theory and performance skills
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental music preferred
Ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons and performances
Faith Requirements:
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
Agreement with and support of the school’s Statement of Faith and conduct
standards
Active participation in a Bible-believing church
Demonstration of Christian character in work and relationships
Commitment to serving as a Christ-like example within the school community
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday -Thursday School with occasional evening or event participation
required
