About the Role
Pacific Pilates is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and dynamic Pilates Instructors to join our
growing studio family. We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time instructors who are
passionate about helping others improve their lives through health, movement, and wellness.
The ideal candidate is confident teaching clients of all fitness levels and enjoys creating
challenging, safe, and engaging Pilates classes in a welcoming environment. Our instructors play
an important role in building community, supporting member success, and delivering an
exceptional studio experience.
At Pacific Pilates, we use Balanced Body Reformers, EXO Chairs, Springboards, and more to
create dynamic apparatus-based workouts.
Responsibilities
- Provide group reformer Pilates classes in accordance with Pacific Pilates standards
- Instruct clients of all fitness levels using proper form and safe methods on a variety of
equipment including:
◦ Reformer
◦ Springboard
◦ EXO Chair
- Teach classes of up to 12 clients while ensuring a safe, engaging, and motivating
experience
- Conduct private, semi-private, demo, and introductory sessions as needed
- Demonstrate effective group reformer instruction with clear cueing and modifications
- Build relationships with current and prospective clients
- Assist with membership sales, retail promotions, and client check-in when needed
- Visually inspect equipment prior to each class to ensure safety and proper working order Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment
- Support studio growth by promoting memberships, retail, and services
- Be a motivating and inspiring presence that reflects the Pacific Pilates culture and values
- Attend scheduled meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- Current full apparatus Pilates Certification with 450 training hours or more
- Experience teaching group Pilates classes
- Ability to demonstrate effective and safe group reformer instruction
- Energetic, positive, and motivational teaching style
- Ability to use a contemporary approach to classical Pilates exercises
- Confidence working with clients ranging from beginner to advanced levels
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Desire to grow within an entrepreneurial and community-focused environment
- Comfortable learning and using studio management software such as Mariana Tek
- Passion for health, wellness, fitness, and helping others succeed
Schedule Expectations
- Instructors may teach mornings, evenings, weekends, and specialty classes based on
studio needs
- Blocked scheduling and consistent shifts may be available
- Opportunities to teach multiple class levels and formats
Specific scheduling availability and class assignments will be discussed during the interview

Employment Requirements
Employment is contingent upon:
- Verification of Pilates certification credentials
- Successful completion of a background check
- Proof of identity and legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Availability to teach mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
All positions at Pacific Pilates are at-will employment.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
