Registered Dental Hygienist
MA’s Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team!
We are a patient-centered family and cosmetic dental practice committed to providing excellent clinical care while creating a warm, welcoming experience for every patient. Schedule
Part-time opportunity
Saturday schedule: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month
Additional weekday hours available
Reliable attendance and punctuality are important

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care, including dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, and periodontal maintenance
Perform periodontal assessments and monitor patients' oral health
Review medical and dental histories and identify changes that may affect treatment
Take diagnostic dental radiographs as prescribed and maintain proper radiation safety protocols
Provide fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services as appropriate
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, home-care techniques, and preventive treatment
Clearly communicate treatment findings and recommendations to patients and the doctor
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Dentrix
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards at all times
Properly sterilize and maintain instruments and operatory equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hygiene operatory
Work collaboratively with doctors, dental assistants, and front-office team members
Help create a positive patient experience and build strong long-term relationships with our patients
What We’re Looking For
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Virginia
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong knowledge of periodontal assessment, preventive dentistry, and dental hygiene procedures
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Professional, dependable, and compassionate attitude
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
Comfortable treating patients of all ages, including children
Experience with Dentrix is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
