Job Overview
Site Manager will work closely with an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and/or Owner to plan, coordinate, budget, estimate, supervise and coordinate the long-term projections and day to day operations of the projects assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Learns and implements KMP SOPs related to all business and construction process;
- Maintains and enforces construction schedule to a timely completion of assigned project (s);
- Coordinates work activities of subcontractors, site-professionals, material orders, inspection schedules, and communicates instructions and project assignments, as developed by Project Manager and/or Owner;
- Prepares and provides daily progress report to Project Manager and/or Owner and makes recommendations for necessary modifications;
- Accompanies APM, PM/Owner on walk-throughs as a non-contributing support member to KMP team.
- Refrains from discussing with client/customer any changes to contract elements, design elements, field additions/subtractions.
- Collaborates and garners prior approval from KMP leadership before making any field changes, and or additions to any element of the assigned project.
- Inspects daily all site-work, of each subcontractor, for completion and quality prior to subcontractor’s site departure.
- Collaborates with pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, code requirements, and other state and local regulations are met;
- Ensures specifications and regulations outlined in architectural, engineering plans and design elements are followed;
- Collaborates with building engineers, property management, neighboring tenants, when applicable;
- Maintains job supplies and materials to effectively meet construction and trade schedules.
- Maintains records related to inventory and deliveries;
- Maintains a very clean jobsite and immediately addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies.
- Will be required to coordinate and/or perform minor construction work to include warranty work, cleaning, repair, transportation of construction job site materials;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Preferred: Three to five years of progressively responsible commercial construction experience to include tenant-fit-out and ground-up; any combination of commercial work to include office, medical, restaurant, and retail.
- Preferred: some college, construction certification, bi-lingual (English-Spanish).

- Ability to effectively use automated technology and keyboard driven equipment.
- Ability to conduct in-person and virtual meetings with company staff, customers, inspectors, and any other related entities.
- Ability and aptitude to use company supported hardware and computer software to manage day to day responsibilities of the assigned position.
- Ability to effectively work in multicultural environments.
Certifications
10 hour OSHA Certification – upon hire or within 180 days of hire.
Physical Abilities
- Must be able to access, traverse, and navigate all areas of a construction site, which may include uneven, multilevel planes.
- Must be able to work in and tolerate extreme and varying weather and temperatures.
- Must be able to work varying shifts (day-shift, mid-shift, night-shift).
- Must have high spatial awareness.
- Must possess acute visual acuity.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to use common construction hand and power tools.
- Must be able to bend, push, pull, squat, carry, climb, and crawl.
- Must be able to work in environments where impact noise is at a high level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
