The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Auto Interior Repair Technician to join our high-performing team. This is a craftsman-level position with commission opportunity and long-term potential. You’ll learn the trade while being surrounded by a supportive team that values skill, structure, and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
You will be trained and expected to master these core skills:
- Interior Surface Repair: Restore damaged automotive seats, dashboards, carpet, and trim using professional-grade materials and tools.
- Color Matching & Finishing: Blend dyes and finishes to match OEM standards across a wide range of materials.
- In-Shop and Mobile Work: Work out of our Boise facility and travel locally in a company vehicle to complete on-site repairs as needed.
- Work Order Management: Accurately document all work completed, materials used, and time spent per job.
- Customer Interaction (light): Occasionally interact with clients to explain repairs or gather information.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure every completed job meets or exceeds McDowell’s craftsmanship standards.
