Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for processing bills, tips, and cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- TABC Certification and a Food Handler License will be required within the first 30 days of employment
