About the Role
We are a 35 year old company that builds premium AR-platform rifles and components that our customers trust with their lives and their livelihoods. Every part that leaves this building has to be right — and that starts on the assembly bench.
As a Sub-Assembly Technician, you'll build precision firearm components and assemblies to exact specifications using shop tooling, fixtures, and gauges. This isn't line work where you bolt the same two pieces together all day and stop thinking. You'll learn to read build sheets, work to tight tolerances, catch problems before they ship, and take pride in work that has to be done right the first time.
You don't need firearms experience to start. You need good hands, mechanical instinct, and the discipline to follow a process exactly. We'll teach you the rest. If you're the person who takes things apart to understand how they work, who can't stand sloppy work, and who wants to learn a real trade — this is a place to build a career, not just clock a shift.
What You'll Actually Do
- Assemble firearm sub-assemblies and components to detailed build specifications using hand tools, torque tools, and shop fixtures
- Work to tight tolerances and follow assembly procedures exactly — no shortcuts, no "close enough"
- Use gauges and inspection tools to verify your work meets spec (we'll train you on these)
- Spot quality issues — a part that doesn't fit right, a finish that's off, a measurement out of range — and flag them before they move down the line
- Perform inventory counts and keep accurate records
- Follow all firearms handling, safety, and recordkeeping procedures without exception
- Keep your bench and work area clean, organized, and shop-safe
- Pitch in with the team when the workload calls for it
What We're Looking For (Required)
- Mechanical instinct. You understand how mechanical things fit and function. You can follow a diagram, use hand tools confidently, and figure out why something isn't going together right. Formal experience is a plus, but we care more about whether it clicks for you.
- Precision and patience. You can work carefully and consistently on detailed tasks without rushing or getting sloppy when it gets repetitive.
- You follow the process. When there's a written procedure, you follow it exactly — every time — because in this industry a shortcut can be a safety problem.
- Reliability. You show up on time, every day, ready to work. The line depends on it.
- Must pass a criminal background check and be legally able to possess firearms under all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Hands-on work history in assembly, machining, small-engine/automotive repair, gunsmithing, or any trade involving precision and hand tools
- Experience reading build sheets, work instructions, or blueprints
- Familiarity with torque specs, calipers, or gauges
- General firearms familiarity

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
This is medium-duty work. Every person in this role must be able to do the following each day, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Vision: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: reading build assembly bills of material; viewing a computer terminal; identifying instructions, labels, and packaging are correct; ability to see color.
- Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
- Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
- Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, or moving from one work area to another.
- Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
- Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
- Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers.
- Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

- Must be able to pass criminal background and be able to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to multi task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Must be punctual, meticulous and reliable.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
