Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to medical practitioners, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or hotel experience who are looking to transition into the medical field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist with EKGs, injections, and routine clinical procedures
- Review medical histories and prepare patients for examinations
- Document patient information in EPIC EMR
- Support providers with patient flow and daily clinic operations
- Float to other local clinics within the same discipline as needed
Qualifications
- At least 1+years of previous Perinatal/OB-GYN experience - Required
- EKG experience - Preferred
- Epic experience - Preferred
- CMA certification/License - Required
- BLS(AHA) - Required
