Job Overview
Seeking to hire for Full-time employee with time split between Shop Technician and helping as a Farm-Hand seasonally during planting/harvest season, as needed. Familiarity with tractors, implements, and hauling required to assist in farming +/- 2700 acres. Experience in Livestock Husbandry preferred to assist with cattle operations as well. Prior knowledge operating other heavy equipment is also a plus to better assist the needs as a Shop Technician.
Our shop is located in Arcadia, IN and the work would include assisting mechanics, cleaning equipment and facilities, and light deliveries / pickups. Some travel may be required. Weekends as needed. Some basic mechanical skills helpful.
*Clean driving record and reliable transportation are a must.

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- Assist mechanics, clean equipment and facilities.
- Support animal husbandry tasks when needed.
- Assist in supervising operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of farming and agricultural practices.
- Familiarity with driving tractors, implements, and hauling.
- Familiarity with farming, animal husbandry and care preferred.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
We do not offer overtime pay for this particular position, as IN state law does not require overtime rates to be paid out for agricultural work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
