HNI Healthcare is seeking an experienced Acute Care Certified APP to join the Night Team providing ICU and House coverage at Southwest General Health Center in Cleveland, OH.
Our ICU physicians and APPs pride themselves on teamwork and communication. Successful candidates will have a strong desire for autonomous practice; however, ICU physicians will be on call and available for assistance if needed. Our ICU functions with 2 APPs at night. The ICU, House APP will assist in the ICU with admissions as well as a portion of the patient management and take calls for the house for routine issues and troubleshooting. SWGH has a surgical house officer on site to assist with procedures at the discretion of the ICU APP. HNI is seeking an APP with the ability to function at the top of their license
This opportunity:
- 24-bed Updated Modern ICU
- 2 APPs at night and 1 APP and physician on during the day
- 350-bed Level III Trauma Facility
- Manage, admit, and treat complex patients in an ICU setting along with another ICU APP
- Respond to pages for the house with routine questions, troubleshooting and medication management
- Perform procedures within scope as credentialed and able (central lines, arterial lines, intubations, chest tubes)
- Respond to, and run rapid responses and code blues
- Patient evaluations for ICU and house
- Responds to stroke alerts
- Flexible Schedule: 2-4 days in a row and alternate with counterpart
- Shift Hours- 7p-7a

A successful ICU APP candidate for HNI Healthcare will have the following:
- Ability to perform intubations and central lines
- Passion for delivering high-quality, value-based versus volume-based care.
- Preference for real-time, data-driven clinical decision-making.
- ICU experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Ability to work autonomously
- Board certified, APP with advanced training in Critical Care, Pulmonary/CC, or Anesthesiology/CC.
- Current, unrestricted Ohio State license to practice.
