We are working with an amazing Hair Replacement Solutions center in East Brunswick to bring in a talented Hair Stylist or Technician! The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment in a business where clients seek hair replacement and preventative solutions for thinning hair. Hair replacement experience is NOT necessary! You will be trained on all aspects of the business for everything you need to know. This is a great opportunity for recent cosmetology school graduates, or those who have been in the industry for years!
We are ideally looking for someone to fill the full-time opportunity hours. For this role, Saturday hours are required from 8am-3pm. Weekly hours are Tuesday and Friday 9-5, Wednesday and Thursday 11-7. The center is closed on Sunday and Monday. Commission pay and tips are generously included, on top of the starting $19 per hour base pay.
Responsibilities
-Demonstrating artistry, creativity, good taste, and sound technical skills, with a goal of leaving the client's hair looking natural
-Maintains up-to-date styling skills by attending company sponsored training classes
-Provide exceptional customer service to clients
-Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information
-Continually educating and selling the customer additional products and services
-Keeping workstation up to standards before and after customer appointments
-Adheres to appointment time frames, uses approved products, and follows design template program
-Ensures all paperwork, such as transactional receipts, are completed accurately
Requirements
-Exhibits strong qualities such as attendance, punctuality, strong ethics, communication, customer service, teamwork, and skills
-Hair Styling experience is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided
-Active NJ Cosmetology License is required
-People-oriented personality and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment at times
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
