NOW HIRING – TRUSS LEAD
Locations: Location: St. George, Utah
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
Full-time | Two shifts available
Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity
We are seeking experienced Truss Leads to supervise a production team and assist with the construction of roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support truss assembly team members
- Read and understand shop drawings and work orders
- Accurately set up truss jigs for production
- Measure and cut wood at the required angles
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications
- Install gussets and connector plates
- Operate roller machines and other production equipment
- Move, stack, and organize completed trusses
- Monitor production quality and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
✅ Minimum one year of truss-building or related leadership experience
✅ Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately
✅ Basic math and measurement skills
✅ Strong communication and team-leadership abilities
✅ Reliable, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision
✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
✅ Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical work
✅ High school diploma or GED preferred
✅ Must pass a background check and drug screening
✅ Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify
