We're looking for an experienced Automotive Upholstery Technician who is passionate about quality and wants to be part of a skilled, supportive team.
What You'll Do
- Remove and reinstall vehicle interior components, including seats, trim panels, headliners, carpeting, and interior accessories.
- Repair, recover, and custom-fabricate automotive upholstery using leather, vinyl, cloth, suede, and specialty materials.
- Measure, cut, pattern, sew, and assemble upholstery to factory or custom specifications.
- Install headliners, carpet, door panels, seat covers, and convertible tops.
- Repair or reshape seat foam as needed.
- Collaborate with teammates on custom builds and vehicle restoration projects.
- Maintain exceptional craftsmanship while meeting project timelines.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on automotive upholstery experience.
- Experience working on vehicle interiors—not furniture upholstery alone.
- Proficiency using industrial sewing machines and automotive upholstery equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive interior materials, installation techniques, and pattern reading.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Dependable, positive, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
- Must be able to read and write English.
